Harvest notes
Strict and careful selection of Blaufränkisch, a characteristic red variety, so that the grape skin is damaged as little as possible on the way to the cellar. The grapes were further cooled with dry ice upon receipt. The grapes are cultivated in a nature-friendly way, are strictly selected and are picked exclusively by hand.
Vinification
The grapes are immediately pressed at low pressure to extract as little color as possible from the skin. The grape juice then went into chilled steel tanks where fermentation took place.
Ageing
After fermentation, the wine matures in chilled steel tanks with a chilled mantle.
Rosé Zajc is great for combining. It goes perfectly with fruity and not too sweet dishes, risotto, pasta with pineapple or pear sauce, with sweet and sour sauces and with Indian food. It should be served appropriately cooled, best around 8 to 10 °C.
